Afternoon Cream Tea
We are pleased to offer a chance to enjoy a delicious cream tea whilst you relax and take a steam hauled journey through the Essex countryside.
The fare of just £30.00 includes an all-day rover ticket, allowing unlimited travel all day on our vintage buses and heritage steam and diesel train services, a cream tea (a large rustic scone, clotted cream, strawberry jam and, of course, tea or coffee) on board the train.
Places are limited and sell out fast, so to avoid disappointment and book now.
The cream tea will be served during the journey on the 14:00 steam hauled departure from North Weald station.
It is up to you whether you prefer your Cream Tea Devon or Cornish style!
Our on board bar will be open for the purchase of alcoholic and hot and cold soft drinks to accompany your cream tea.
Celebrating a special occasion?
If you celebrating, small and large bottles of Prosecco will be available to buy at competitive prices from our on-board train bar - to make your day go with a fizz.
Important allergen Information
The cream team contains dairy and wheat, so is not suitable for persons with a wheat or dairy allergy. We are however, able to provide a gluten free scone option. Please indicate at the time of booking.
The scones may contain traces of nuts as they have been made in a bakery that uses nut ingredients.

Heritage Train and Vintage London Bus times
There is no daytime parking available at North Weald station; we recommend joining our vintage London bus service on route 339 from Epping Underground or Shenfield stations. The bus service is included in your fare.
