Additional Information for Classic Car Shows

Fathers’ Day, Sunday 21 June and Sunday 30 August 2020

The Epping Ongar Railway will be holding two classic car and vehicle shows at North Weald Station. These events are only open to PRE-BOOKED cars, motor cycles and commercial vehicles, as our parking space is limited to about 85 vehicles, though capacity may be reduced if the field is waterlogged in places.

Entrance to all is completely free. Drivers and passengers of pre-booked Classic cars will be eligible to concessions for travel on the buses and the trains and to a half price bacon roll & cup of tea or coffee.

All makes and years of vehicles will be considered for entry including Modern classics and Motorcycles. All Vehicles MUST be pre-booked in advance so as we can allocate the limited parking spaces.

It would be helpful if all entries could be in place before 10.30am - the field will be available from 9.00am - and as there will be a lot of public activity, entry after this, even for those who have pre-booked, may be refused due to Health & Safety issues. It would also be helpful if all exhibitors could remain in place for the day.

All vehicles must be insured and proof of insurance bought with them on the day. All vehicles bought to the show are entirely at the owners risk. The Epping Ongar Railway will not be held responsible for any damage to vehicles while on site or in transit to and from the event, and will have the right to refuse entry to any person or vehicle on the day.

Acceptance of the above conditions is taken as agreed on receipt of the email confirming attendance.

Vehicles that are not pre-booked will be admitted to the show only if there is room to park. Unfortunately, they (and late comers) will not have the concessions that are offered to the pre-booked ones. Please contact the organisers if you have pre-booked and are unable to attend so that space can be reallocated to other exhibitors.
