Holden F5 Locomotive Trust
The Holden F5 Steam Locomotive Trust is constructing a replica Great Eastern Railway steam locomotive of a type that could be seen throughout east London and east Anglia until 1957 when the last example was scrapped. Their locomotive GER 789, latterly known as F5 67218 operated on the Epping to Ongar railway from 1954 until 16th November 1957.
Construction of GER 789 is advanced with all castings for the frames manufactured, frames cut, bunker and smokebox fabricated. For further information visit www.holdenf5.co.uk
