Services this February Half Term27th January 2022

The Epping Ongar Railway will be running heritage steam and diesel services through the Essex countryside and into the historic Epping Forest this coming February half term school holiday.

Operating on a line that was formerly part of the London Underground network between North Weald, Ongar and Epping Forest, the heritage railway is easily accessible from London via the Central Line to Epping (zone 6).

On 12, 13, 18 and 19 February a scenic railcar service will be in operation, which offers drivers eye views of the line and countryside. You may even see the London skyline as the train passes over what was the highest point of the London Underground network! Inclusive heritage buses will connect the Railway with Epping Underground station.

On 20 February a steam hauled service will operate in conjunction with the Railway's first bus event of the year. As well as an inclusive connecting heritage bus service from Epping, a number of buses will provide additional rides over local routes.
