Pendennis Castle to operate services this weekend28th June 2023

This weekend there is another chance to travel behind visiting castle class locomotive 4079 Pendennis castle at the Epping Ongar Railway!

Perhaps you missed it at our steam gala, or just want more rides with the locomotive?

We’re delighted that Pendennis Castle will be operating our steam services this coming Saturday, 1 July!

We’re enhancing our standard timetable to provide additional steam hauled journeys onto Epping Forest too!

Standard fares apply and child fares are just £1.

Please be aware that our heritage bus service will not be operating on Saturday. There will be limited parking at North Weald station or you can use public car parks in Ongar which are a short walk from the station.

Pendennis Castle will also be operating our services for Duggee's visit on Sunday 2 July.
