  • Over 70 Real Ales and 15 Real Ciders across both our stations
  • Leave the car at home! Connecting vintage London bus service from Epping station (London Underground Central Line, zone 6) and Shenfield on all days
  • Heritage steam and diesel hauled train services in operation all three days and running until late evening Friday and Saturday
  • Tickets offer unlimited travel on heritage train and bus services
  • On board Real Ale bars
  • Live music at each station at certain times each day

The event has grown over the years and we expect this trend to continue - expect more beers, lots of trains and more fun in 2024!

Getting to us

Leave the car at home!

It's easy to get to us via the London Underground and Elizabeth Line and Greater Anglia services. Our inclusive heritage London buses will run from right outside the front of Epping Underground station (Central Line, zone 6) and from Shenfield station (for Elizabeth Line and Greater Anglia services), connecting with our train services at North Weald and Ongar stations. These will connect with the first and last train services, as well as running regularly throughout the day. Timetables with bus times will be available shortly. 

There is only limited car parking for disabled passengers at our stations, which must be booked in advance. Public car parks are available in Ongar (charges may apply), a short walk from the station (use postcode CM5 9AB); Alternatively passengers may park at Epping Station (charges apply) and join our heritage bus service (use postcode CM16 4HW).

Hot food and snacks

Our LNER Cafe at North Weald station and the Buffet Stop cafe at Ongar station will both be open during the daytime serving a selection of packaged goods, light snacks and hot and cold non alcoholic drinks. 

Our friends from Hopleaf catering will also be at North Weald station offering burgers, bratwurst and a selection of curries and chilli.

There will be live music at North Weald and Ongar on all three days of the event.

Saturday Daytime
The Flytippers (Alex Wall) - performing at Ongar at 12.30 and16.30 and also at North Weald at 14.00

Saturday Evening

Tickets and train fares

All day fares offer unlimited travel on all of our heritage train and vintage London bus services on the date of your visit. Tickets purchased in advance must be printed, or the barcode must be able to be scanned from your mobile device.

CAMRA members may purchase concession tickets. A valid CAMRA membership card must be shown at the ticket office or to the bus conductor. 

All Day Tickets

Adult: £18
Child: £8
Concession: £17

Special evening fare

Valid on train and bus services after 17.00 on Friday and Saturday only

Adult: £10

Package offers

Get your train travel, your glass and first set of beer tokens. Additional beer tokens can be purchased on the day if required. 

Adult (including £9 of beer tokens): £30
CAMRA member (including £10 of beer tokens): £30
Evening package (including £7 of beer tokens): £20 - valid for travel after 17.00 on Friday and Saturday only.
