Real Ale Train23 May
Following the success of our Real Ale Trains last year, we're running them again this year!
The train fare is just £12 for travel on all trains during the evening, with a small discount if booked more than two weeks in advance (£6 for holders of our residents railcard). Alternatively, an All Day Rover ticket will entitle to also travel on our standard train and bus services throughout the day as well as our Real Ale Train in the evening.
We plan to have a selection of local real ales and 2 ciders available, bottled ales together with bar snacks, onboard the train in the Flag and Whistle Bar. You can also purchase your own souvenir glasses from the bar. The Flag and Whistle will also now accept contactless payments.
Leave the car at home!
There will be buses from Epping (a single return journey is included in the price of your ticket) and a final bus to connect with the last train arriving at North Weald will also be provided. Please see times below.
Real Ale and Cider
The Real Ale and Cider list will be updated here closer to the evening.
We can offer a hot food option of fish and chips for an additional charge of £10.00. This will be served on the train at your seat during the evening. This option must be pre-ordered. This can be done online, below. Alternatively, bar snacks will be available throughout the evening.
Timetable for trains and buses
The timetable for train and bus services will be available closer to the evening.
