Real Ale Train27 April

Following the success of our Real Ale Trains last year, we're running them again this year!

Real Ale Train

Running as part of our Spring Diesel Gala, with classic diesel traction at the helm, the train fare is just £12 for travel after 5pm - with a small discount if booked more than two weeks in advance. (£6 for holders of our residents railcard). If you wish to enjoy the full day with us, then our All Day Rover ticket includes travel all day during the Diesel Gala on the Real Ale Train.

We plan to have a selection of local real ales and 2 ciders available, bottled ales together with bar snacks, onboard the train in the Flag and Whistle Bar. You can also purchase your own souvenir glasses from the bar. The Flag and Whistle will also now accept contactless payments.

Leave the car at home!

There will be buses from Epping (a single return journey is included in the price of your ticket) and a final bus to connect with the last train arriving at North Weald will also be provided. Please see times below.
