50 Years of London Country Bus Services - Bus Running Day23 February
This event, based at North Weald Station, will feature new routes running to local towns and villages. It will commemorate fifty years of London Country Bus Services Ltd. Expect visiting vehicles and possibly a surprise or two!
RF, RT, RM, RLH and SMA vehicles types are expected. The following guest vehicles are confirmed.

The following routes will run:
- 339 Epping Station to North Weald
- 381 North Weald to Nazeing Church via Epping Green
- 393 North Weald to Nazeing Church via Great Parndon
- 393A North Weald to Old Harlow via Foster Street
- 396 North Weald to Old Harlow via Potter Street
- 718 Chingford to North Weald
- 804/805 North Weald to Little Parndon

Our route 339 buses will run to connect Epping Underground station (Central Line, Zone 6) with North Weald station at regular intervals throughout the event.
A special afternoon excursion will run to Old Harlow. We think you will want to make sure you are on board! Excursion buses will depart North Weald at 15.35, 15.40 and 15.45. Return buses from Old Harlow will run direct to Epping on route 396, or Chingford on route 718 at the times stated on the downloadable timetables.
Pop up Shop
Subject to weather conidtions, w ewill have a pop up shop at North Weald selling a selection of second hand bus book and magazines and boxed and unboxed EFE models, many with a London Country theme.
Our gift shop at North Weald will also have available a wide selection of secondhand and brand new EFE models at competitive prices; again many with a London and London Country theme.
Tickets now available!
Kids for a Quid fares apply today. These give unlimited travel on all train and bus services, including the additional services running for this event, all day long.
A Bus Only ticket is also available. These provide unlimited travel on the bus services only, including the 339 service from Epping station. They are not valid on the train services. These can be purchased online below, or on the day from the bus conductor (cash only).
Admission to North Weald station will only be available to ticket holders.
