View from Compound

Blake Hall

Blake Hall Station was closed in 1981 and sold in 19??. It is now a private dwelling. Changes due to new ownership and overgrowth of the surrounding environment has made it difficult to reproduce the photographs; the view across from the bridge is obscured by trees and the platform has been removed. However, the owners very kindly allowed us to photograph the station house from the opposite side to the railway and a view from the bridge looking down onto the track as our DMU passes the station building is possible.
